Selling Properties

Postby Pixie » Thu Apr 07, 2011 5:58 pm

If one is in the uneviable position of selling a property in the rather lucriative W4 area then surely it is the seller that should call all the shots?

Reading other sites people who own property in this area should not allow to be dictated to by some oik in a suit just cos he represents some ' estate agency 'firm'.

I remember when we sold our house , back in the eighties, my ex-husband gave a bit of an ultimation to the estate agency he'd picked, in respect of the percentage the agency got if they actually sold the property. And then I gave them a time to do it in. If they failed then the whole agreement was off.

But reading other persons ventures in the property market I just wonder where their heads' are at. Why are people so naively trusting these days?

Has anyone else, apart from me, put a clause in a property sale?

Does, as reported, our job define us and we behave accordingly?

Or do some of us actually think for ourselves?
