Memorial Service for the late Alan Keen MP

Tonight at Lampton School a memorial service was held to celebrate the life of the late Alan Keen, former Member of Parliament for the Hounslow constituency of Feltham & Heston.

We would like to endorse the many tributes paid to him.

As well as being very likeable and personable, Alan was passionate about his constituency’s diversity.

In 2009, when he heard we were conducting a petition against the BNP leader’s projected appearance on “Question Time”, he invited us to Parliament and enthusiastically gave his signature.

Alan always stood up for fairness and believed everyone had a part to play in society. His basic decency will be sadly missed.
